Question:   How do I Know the difference between a blocked and tapered hairline?
 

Answer:  The examples below show how a blocked hairline can add the illusion of width - not a good thing if you are heavyset or have a thick neck, but probably a good option if your neck is long and skinny. The second set of photos shows a hairline a few days after the haircut. Notice how the tapered haircut looks clean while the blocked cut already looks sloppy.

 

Question:  Where can I buy REDKEN Products?

Answer:  REDKEN products can be purchased at our salon. We carry the full line of REDKEN products.  Just ask your hairstylist for details.

Question:  Should I shampoo my hair before coming in for an updo?
Answer:  Shampoos and conditioners can be slippery and lead to your updo becoming loose or even falling out.  We suggest you shampoo the night before coming in for your big event.
Question:  How can I remove chewing gum from my hair?

Answer:  When chewing gum becomes stuck in hair the best method of removal is to delicately massage peanut butter into the gum until it comes free.

Question:  Can I get a massage if I have fibromyalgia?


Massage is particularly beneficial for those with fibromyalgia as it can reduce your heart rate, relax your muscles, improve range of motion in your joints, and increase production of your body's natural painkillers.

Question:  How long does my hair need to be to get hair extensions?



It is recommended that your hair be 3-4 inches for thickening or volume     and 4-5 inches for a full lengthening.

 

Question:  How long does the hair extension process take?

The time varies depending on the desired look. It can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours.

Question:  Can I treat my hair the same as before?

Absolutely! The correct brushes, cleansing and styling products will be recommended. Some additional care is required to get the most out of the extensions, which is explained during your consultation.
